Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. cream
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar, then egg yolk, cream and vanilla. Mix well.
Add flour mixed with baking powder and then add nuts. Form into balls, dip in egg white and chopped nuts.
Make small indentions in center of each ball.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. When cool, fill with butter cream frosting or any desired preserves.
