Icebox Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 large eggs or 3 small
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick cooking oats
raisins or nuts, if desired

Preparation

Combine Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs.
Sift soda, salt and flour.
Then add to Crisco and sugar mixture.
Add vanilla and oats.
Mixture will be very stiff, but should be moist enough to roll into rolls.
Freeze or chill.
Slice.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
