Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla.
Stir in flour and shape 1 level tablespoonful of dough to about 1/8 inch thick on buttered baking sheet 1 inch apart.
Bake 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Makes 3 dozen.
