Broccoli-Rice Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    3 c. hot, cooked rice
    1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
    6 eggs, divided
    1 tsp. salt, divided
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Cook onions with broccoli.
    Drain well and set aside.
    Combine rice, 3/4 cup cheese, 2 eggs (slightly beaten) and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Press firmly and evenly over bottom and sides of 2 greased 9-inch pie pans.
