Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3 bananas (real ripe)
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar and egg, then beat.
    Then add dry ingredients (sifted); add mashed bananas and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in large loaf pan, greased and floured.
