Baked Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can pear halves, drained
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained
    1 (6 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
    1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
    1/3 c. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle fruit with almonds.
    Combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; top the fruit with mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
