Basic White Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter/margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    dash of black pepper
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    Add flour, salt and pepper; mix well.
    Add evaporated milk and water, all at once. Continue to cook over medium heat until mixture boils.
    Boil 1 additional minute or until thick.
    Yield: 1 cup.
