Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
pinch of salt
vanilla and nutmeg
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add peanut butter.
Break in the eggs and beat well.
Add flour, soda, salt and flavoring.
Make into tiny balls the size of bird eggs and place on baking sheet. Press flat with fork, making crisscross pattern.
Bake quickly at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for approximately 10 minutes.
