Five Hour Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean beef cubes
    1 c. carrots, sliced
    1 c. celery, sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 bay leaf
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    4 oz. water
    1 small can mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a casserole and bake covered for 5 hours at 250\u00b0, stirring occasionally.
