Busy Day Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. uncooked rice
1 chicken, cut up or pork chops, browned
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
4 c. boiling water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cover bottom of pan with rice.
Arrange chicken pieces on rice.
Dot with butter.
Sprinkle with onion soup over all.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour boiling water into pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
