Hot Clam Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. minced clams (about a 7 to 8 oz. can)
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 small onion, minced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    hot pepper flakes (optional)
    dash of Tabasco
    dash of black pepper
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. Italian breadcrumbs
    1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Simmer clams in own juice with lemon juice until 1/2 volume. Saut all ingredients, but breadcrumbs and cheese, in butter. Add clams and breadcrumbs to mixture. Put in crock or any oven-safe dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers and Tabasco.
