Gobbler'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground raw turkey
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 (15 oz.) cans pinto beans
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    15 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook ground turkey, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Drain.
    Stir undrained beans, undrained tomatoes, brown sugar, salt and pepper; bring to boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Ladle into bowls.
    Top with shredded cheese, if desired.
    Serves 6.
