Banana Snack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine, softened
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 oz. semi-sweet chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
    In large bowl, combine sugar, margarine and eggs.
    Mix well.
    Stir in buttermilk, bananas and vanilla.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Stir in flour, oats, baking soda and salt.
    Mix well.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Spread batter in prepared pan.
    Sprinkle nuts evenly over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 16 servings.
