Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-layer size yellow cake mix
    1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1 beaten egg
    3 eggs
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Set aside 2/3 cup of the yellow cake mix.
    Combine remaining cake mix, margarine or butter and beaten egg.
    Stir by hand until mixture is crumbly.
    Press the mixture evenly over bottom and 1 inch up the sides of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
