Beef Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 c. mashed potatoes or instant
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. shredded Cheddar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Heat oil in skillet. Saute beef and onion until onion is transparent. Stir in salt and pepper.
    Place meat mixture in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Spread potatoes on top and top with cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
