Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. lite brown sugar
    1 c. lite corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1 1/2 c. shelled pecans
Preparation
    Beat eggs in bowl.
    Add corn syrup, sugar, salt, vanilla and melted butter, mixing together very well.
    Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pie shell, then pour prepared mixture over nuts.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then decrease to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Or bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes until silver knife inserted in center comes clean.
