Hot Dog Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4-5 hot dogs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 tsp. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat fat in deep fryer or skillet to 375\u00b0.
    Cook the hot dogs in water about 4 minutes.
    Drain and cool.
    Slice each hot dog in 6 pieces. Combine meal, flour, onion, egg, and milk.
    Stir in hot dog pieces.
    Drop from spoon into hot fat.
    Fry until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
    Drain on paper towels.
