Potato Crunch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns (loose type), thawed
    2 sticks butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    2 cups cornflake crumbs
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick butter and pour over thawed potatoes.
    Set aside.
    Mix together sour cream, soup, onion, seasoning and cheese.
    Add to hash browns and mix thoroughly.
