Pork Chops In Sour Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (3/4-inch thick)
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sour cream
    paprika
Preparation
    Brown mushrooms in butter in a heavy skillet.
    Remove mushrooms and brown pork chops on both sides.
    Season with salt and pepper; add 1/2 cup water, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
    Remove chops and keep warm. Prepare gravy in juice with mushrooms in skillet.
    Mix flour and remaining 1/2 cup water.
    Add to the juices.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickens.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream.
    Serve at once over pork chops.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
