Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. plus 2 tsp. hot water
1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 scant c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk*

Preparation

*To sour milk, add 1 teaspoon vinegar to milk; let stand 5 minutes.
