Ham And Cheese Croquettes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped finely
1/2 lb. ham, chopped finely
3 Tbsp. margarine
2/3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. milk
1/2 lb. cheese, grated
2 tsp. parsley
breadcrumbs
shortening (for deep frying)
Preparation

Mix eggs and ham.
Melt margarine in saucepan.
Stir in flour and mix well.
Slowly stir in milk.
Stirring constantly, bring to a boil.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add cheese, parsley and egg and ham mixture.
Blend well.
Cool.
When mixture is cold, shape into croquettes.
Dip in beaten eggs and roll in breadcrumbs.
Fry in deep fat until golden brown.
