Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    8 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Add salt to egg whites.
    Beat until they stand up in peaks and are stiff, but not dry.
    Add sugar, very slowly, 1/2 at a time. Beat constantly.
    Beat in vanilla.
    Spread on pie and bake in a slow oven, at 300\u00b0, for about 10 minutes.
