Green Beans With Sour Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. green beans (fresh)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
dash of salt and pepper
1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
boiling salted water (to cover beans)
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 to 3/4 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tsp. minced parsley and slivered pimiento
Preparation

Wash, trim and French-cut diagonally, cut whole beans into inch lengths. Cook in boiling salted water for 5 to 7 minutes for French or 10 to 15 minutes for 2-inch pieces, until tender-crisp. Drain well.
