Cheesy Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
1 c. each chopped: carrots, celery and onion
2 c. chopped potatoes
3 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. flour
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Place vegetables in broth; bring to a boil.
Cook 15 minutes or until softened.
Melt butter over low heat.
Stir in flour. Add milk.
Simmer until thick, about 5 minutes, stirring often. Add Cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted.
Add chicken to broth mixture.
Add cheese mixture to broth mixture.
Stir. Serve.
