Jessie'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 eggs
    1 c. canned milk (I use small can and finish to 1 1/8 c. water)
    2 tsp. butternut or lemon flavoring (some people like almond)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco (I use butter-flavored) until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Beat 2 minutes on medium.
