Fresh Apple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 c. finely chopped apples (unpeeled)
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients and cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Stir in half of the dry ingredients.
    Add nuts, raisins and apples.
    Mix in milk and rest of dry ingredients.
    Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets; bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
    Cookies should be placed about 2 inches apart.
    Frost, if desired.
