Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef (uncooked)
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 (4 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and wash; parboil for 5 minutes.
    Combine beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 of sauce.
    Pile mixture into peppers in large baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over each pepper.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Cover tightly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
