Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 cloves garlic or 2 Tbsp. garlic
    5 c. onion
    1 red pepper
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 chili peppers (less for less hot)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and boil.
    Stir until thick, 1 to 2 hours.
    Put in hot jars.
    Cap.
    Seal tightly.
    Bring to a boil 20 minutes.
    Makes 14 pints.
