Vegetable Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce
    1/2 c. cubed celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 small pkg. peas
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 slices crisp bacon chips
    2 c. Cheddar cheese
    Hellmann's mayonnaise (to cover)
Preparation
    Chop lettuce into bite size and spread into a 9 x 12-inch glass bowl.
    Spread celery over lettuce, then onion, then pepper and last, peas.
    Cover and seal edges with mayonnaise.
    Crumble bacon bits and sugar over top.
    Spread Cheddar cheese on top. Cover and seal with Saran Wrap for 24 hours in refrigerator. Serves 10.
