Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins or chocolate chips
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together.
Blend sugars, shortening and eggs together.
Stir well and add rest of ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0 until brown.
