Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs (well beaten).
    Sift soda, cream of tartar and salt with the flour.
    Add to mixture.
    Mold into a loaf and place in refrigerator overnight.
    Slice off or soften dough by leaving out in room temperature enough to roll out.
    Cut in shapes desired.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
