Batter Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. cold water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    3 to 3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Place the first 3 ingredients in a pan.
    Heat until oleo melts.
    Add 1 cup cold water to heated mixture; stir and add yeast.
    Then add egg and salt.
    Stir in flour.
    If needed, add more flour to get a bread-type dough consistency.
    Let stand for 30 minutes.
    Shape into balls and place in greased pan; let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 1 dozen rolls.
