Chiperoo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cooking oil
    1 lb. box brown sugar
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Combine cooking oil and brown sugar.
    Mix well.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    To the shortening mixture, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Blend in dry ingredients.
    Add pecans and chocolate chips; mix well.
    Pour into greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    When almost cool, cut into bars.
