Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. butter, soft
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. Hungry Jack potato flakes
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large bowl, beat brown sugar, sugar, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well. Set aside. Combine all dry ingredients; mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts; combine to sugar mixture.
Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Store in airtight container.
