Corn Bread Taco Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 (1 1/8 oz.) pkg. Taco seasoning
    1/2 c. water
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
    1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Stir in next five ingredients.
    Pour into 8 x 12 inch baking dish.
    Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions, except add 1/2 can onions.
    Spoon around outer edge of casserole.
