Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. milk, scalded
nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly.
Add salt and sugar.
Slowly add hot milk and vanilla.
Pour into custard cups and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in pan of hot water until the custards are firm or a knife blade inserted comes out clean.
Baking time, 30 to 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Serves 6.
