Special Creamed Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
    5 c. frozen corn
Preparation
    In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add cream, milk, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for two minutes. Add corn; heat through. Transfer to an ungreased 1 1/2-quart broiler-proof dish. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Broil 5 inches from the heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
