Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1 medium onion, chopped
green onions, chopped
3/4 to 1 c. milk

Preparation

Combine all dry ingredients.
Add egg, milk and onions.
Mix well.
Drop in deep hot grease by spoonfuls and brown on all sides.
