Homemade Butter Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 c. butter (not margarine)
    3 Tbsp. boiling water
    food coloring
    flavoring oil or extract
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter and water.
    Color and flavor to taste (approximately 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of oil or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon extract).
    Shape into small balls.
    Roll in granulated sugar. Press into candy molds.
    Pop out.
    Store, covered, in refrigerator.
