Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 heaping Tbsp. flour (plain)
1 Tbsp. margarine
2 c. milk
1/4 c. whipping cream
1 c. coconut
1 (9 or 10-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except coconut, real good with a whisk and cook at medium temperature (burner) on stove, stirring all the time with the whisk until filling thickens, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add coconut.
Mix well.
Pour into the pie shell and top with meringue.
