Cheese Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. gelatin
2 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 lb. cottage cheese, dry
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipped cream
Preparation

Pour cold water into bowl, sprinkle with gelatin.
Heat egg yolks slightly; add sugar, salt and milk.
Cook over boiling water until it reaches a custard consistency.
Stir until dissolved. Cool until mixture begins to thicken.
Add cheese and vanilla. Beat with mixer until light and fluffy.
Beat egg whites separately until stiff.
Fold whipped cream and egg whites into beaten mixture.
Pour into graham cracker crust.
Refrigerate.
