Burrito Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 can tomato sauce
    6 large tortillas, buttered
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown meat, onion and garlic.
    Add seasonings and tomato sauce.
    In a 2-quart casserole, alternate 3 layers of tortillas, meat sauce and 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Pour 1/8 cup water at each edge of pan. Cook at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes (or in microwave for 10 to 11 minutes).
    Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 6.
