Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. broken pretzels
    1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    1 c. sugar
    1 can crushed pineapple
    6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
Preparation
    First Layer:
    Melt butter; pour over pretzels with sugar on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Cool; break with a knife.
    Place in the bottom of a long bowl.
