Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    6 to 8 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast cake in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Mash the potatoes, shortening, eggs and sugar.
    Scald the milk; let cool.
    Add milk to potato mixture.
    Add flour and salt.
    Mix with a spoon until you can handle without it sticking to your hands.
    Let rise to double in size.
    Push down.
    Make rolls.
    Let rise to double in size.
    Refrigerate until ready to make out rolls.
