Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head shredded cabbage
2 large onions, sliced thinly and separated
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 c. salad oil
Preparation

Layer cabbage and onion in airtight container until full. Have onions on top.
Combine sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed and pepper in pan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add oil. Let cool some and pour over cabbage and onion mixture.
Cover and place in refrigerator.
Make ahead.
