Individual Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 qt. strawberries
Preparation
    Mix flour and shortening until completely mixed.
    Add beaten eggs and milk slowly until it forms a soft dough.
    Roll out until about 1/2 inch thick.
    Cut with large biscuit cutter. Bake in 475\u00b0 oven 10 to 12 minutes.
    Split while still hot and butter.
    Fill with sweetened and crushed strawberries. Put on top and cover with berries.
    Top off with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
    Could use sliced peaches instead of strawberries.
