Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine butter and brown sugar and melt over low heat.
    Let cool.
    Add eggs and dry ingredients, then vanilla and nuts.
    Spread in a greased 8-inch square pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    When cool, cut into squares.
    Serves 12.
