Homemade Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 large minced garlic cloves
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 (29 oz.) can tomato puree
Preparation
    Heat olive oil over medium-low heat in a 3-quart saucepan. Add garlic.
    Stir and cook until golden brown.
    Add onion and cook until soft and golden, stirring frequently.
    Add seasonings and tomato products.
    Bring to a boil at medium-high, then reduce to low.
    Cover loosely and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. The recipe yields 6 cups.
