Almond Crunch(1996 Best Cookie At Starke Co. 4-H Fair) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. almonds, ground
1 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Have ungreased cookie sheet.
Beat butter and sugar.
Add eggs and almond extract; beat medium speed until pale.
Add ground almonds and flour.
Mix just until blended. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll heaping tablespoon dough into 1 1/2-inch ball in sliced almonds.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes.
Yields 18 cookies.
