Orange Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

prepared pie shell
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 grated California orange peel
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. coarsely broken pecans
3 Tbsp. juice of orange
Preparation

Spread with tips of fingers just enough of egg mixture on bottom and sides of pie shell to coat it.
Place in oven for 5 minutes at 425\u00b0; this prevents a soggy crust.
Add to rest of egg mixture the rest of the ingredients.
Mix and pour into pie shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Test with knife for doneness.
